Welcome
Hi, my name is James Ko, and as the English Ministry Pastor at Grace and Peace Church, I would like to personally welcome you to the Education Department at Grace and Peace Church. Within the Education Department, there are four ministries: College and Young Adult Ministry, Youth Ministry, Sunday School, and Pre-School/Nursery Ministry. Each ministry is headed by teachers who serve and lead a particular age group. Every person who comes to our church will find a particular ministry where they can belong.
The mission of the Education Department of Grace and Peace Church is derived from Matt. 28:19 where Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” Our mission of the Education Department is to make disciples and followers of Jesus Christ who will devote their lives to honoring the Lord (John 5:23), serving the Lord (Ps. 2:11-12), worshiping the Lord (Rev. 5:8-13), and being a witness for the Lord (Acts 1:8). From children to adults, our aim is to equip them and guide them to be a follower of Christ. Our primary tool for making disciples is the Word of God. We believe that “all scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that [every believer] may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2 Tim. 3:16). As a result of this belief, we are convinced that the Bible is the primary tool for making disciples. Therefore, the Scriptures is at the center of everything we do. It is the focus of our worship services. It is the focus of our prayer meetings. It is the focus of our church events in the form of Bible studies, retreats, and other gatherings.

Education Department Mission Statement
The mission of the Education Department of Grace and Peace Church is derived from Matt. 28:19 where Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” Our mission of the Education Department is to make disciples and followers of Jesus Christ who will devote their lives to honoring the Lord (John 5:23), serving the Lord (Ps. 2:11-12), worshiping the Lord (Rev. 5:8-13), and being a witness for the Lord (Acts 1:8).
